Explanation of Science Party Requirements and Technician Requirements |
This request is an add-on to the OOI cruise on the Armstrong in 2020, to recover or turn-around moorings deployed in 2018. We plan to send two technicians and possibly two watchstanders to assist the technicians on board. We need at least one operator provided tech to assist with CTD and mooring ops. |

Explain Instrumentation or Capability requirements that could affect choice of ship in scheduling. |
We are requesting the Armstrong because they will be operating in our area of interest during the OOI leg, and the Lebus winch is a requirement.
Explain Major Ancillary Facilities Requirements and list description and provider for "other" systems. |
Lebus winch is a requirement, but this will be onboard for the OOI work. |
