Regional Class Research Vessel support of field operations based out of Palmer Station, Antarctica. Period is roughly 60-days on-station during the months of Jan/Feb/Mar 2013. |
Summary of other requirements and comments: |
Vessel will be required to conduct routine multidisciplinary oceanographic operations, transport science equipment and personnel to remote field camps via small boats (Zodiaks and others), and serve as a "ship of opportunity" in support of Palmer Station science operations. |
