Summary of Field Work: |
Field work will involve multiple ROV dives to collect water, volatile, and rock samples from the Lost City hydrothermal field. We anticipate 6-8 dives, each lasting 1.5-2 days. Each dive will be devoted to a specific chimney location at the Lost City Hydrothermal Field. CTD operations will be performed while the ROV is on deck. |
